Bluebio (Hainan) Microalgae Biotechnology lies in the northwest of Hainan, an unpolluted environment with high quality water and sufficient sunshine. Here, Bluebio can produce more than 1,000 metric tons of high quality edible spirulina powder. Meanwhile, Bluebio is still devoted to the research and development of the variety of new kinds of algae such as dunaliella algae and red algae.

At the beginning of 2005, BlueBioTech International Company and Gaode International Trading Co., Ltd. invested together and founded the Bluebio (Yantai) Biotechnology Pharmacy Co., Ltd. These efforts made up an integrated and value-added product supply chain.

The total investment in Bluebio (Yantai) Biotechnology Pharmacy Co., Ltd. was USD 4,200,000. There are two workshops and eight production lines. The yearly output capacity is 500,000,000 soft capsules and tablets or 2.5 billion hard caplets. Our main products are nutritional and health care capsules, tablets and correlative products which are mainly made from spirulina, green algae and plant oil extracts. Presently, 50% of our production is exported.
